How to photograph fairies
Difficult cuz they're invisible
part 1 of 4

Creeks are good places to find fairies.

Creeks are good places to find fairies. I don't see a fairy in this picture, only water and plant and rock spirits. It is best to be silent and be patient and wait.

Most of the matter in the universe is invisible. It is called dark matter, and you can read about it here. Perhaps fairies are composed of such matter. I'm just guessing cuz I don't know how they work, or why they exist. I just know for a fact that they do exist, and over the next three days I'm going to prove it to you. Now I've never seen one of these tinkerbell type of fairies that are pretty little women with wings. I'm not sure if those are real or not, but it would be cool if they are. My definition of a fairy is any magical creature that has the ability to be invisible to the human eye. This includes leprechauns, which I have never seen....yet. I suppose that bigfoot and the loch ness monster might also be fairies, which is why we see them sometimes, but can never find them when we search.

I'm guessing fairies prefer to be visible, and that perhaps they "burn up more energy" when in the invisible state. Based upon my own observations, fairies are masters of camouflage, and can be visible, blending in with the environment so closely that we don't notice them anyway. You have to learn how to look. You have to learn how to be patient and how to observe your environment.

Creeks are good places to find fairies.

Creeks are good places to find fairies. A fairy's blue cloth (?) appears in the lower right hand corner of the photo.

Wait a minute. What's that blue thing ? Can fairies make their possessions turn invisible too ? It appears to be blue cloth of some kind, the top of which has a flat surface. The flat surface has a shape resembling the top of a grand piano. Perhaps it is a little magic carpet. It appears to be floating in midair. I don't know what it is. Do you ? Something's happening here, so perhaps we should be silent, nonthreatening, and see what else shows up ?

Creeks are good places to find fairies.

Like I said, creeks are good places to find fairies. A little fairy can be seen climbing up on the blue cloth.

A little fairy dude can be seen climbing up on the blue cloth. Notice how well he blends in with the background. If that blue "magic carpet", wasn't there, he would be hard to spot. Tomorrow's photo of several fairies at the base of Table Rock in Bandon, Oregon will be much more distinct and clear. Don't miss it.

Table Rock in Bandon, Oregon is a good place to find fairies.

Table Rock in Bandon, Oregon is a good place to find fairies.

This photo was taken at the eastern base of Table Rock during a full moon, and during a minus tide of approximately -2.0 feet. A much larger image is available here for your review and study. (1691px x 1445px = 818KB).

The picture was taken with a flash and I could not see much as it was getting dark. Most of the objects on the rock are fairies, disguised with kelp leaves, and pretending to be things growing naturally from the rock itself. Upon closer observation you will notice some of them have human-like features, and some of them do not. (The yellow hunchback furry creature is a real trip).

I have decided to classify these magical creatures into Scientific categories (Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Species, etc.) and it might be the first such study of its kind. I will give them names. And we'll start with this hot looking babe tomorrow.

A small green cricket fairy.

A small green fairy with the upper torso of a human, and the abdomen and legs of a cricket.

Gee, I wonder why Walt Disney called Disneyland the magic kingdom. Meet Jiminy Cricket. This fairy is a male, as there is a prominent bump where his wiener should be. Check out his 'sixpack abs'. He has long green dreadlock hair which helps him appear to be a piece of seaweed. His upper body, head, and arms are human. His legs and abdomen are those of a cricket. He has wings folded against his back, just like a real cricket. He can fly. He also has long green hair growing from his butt, which helps disguise him. He is an animal. He has a spinal chord. We better define the Order Magicusfairia, the Family Mongolandia, and the Genus Tablerockius before 'Scientific American' magazine discovers this web page.

The Order Magicusfairia Defined

Magicusfairia is an order of mammals and some nonmammals also known as magic fairies characterized by the ability to become invisible, and/or to camouflage themselves to match their environment. Part, if not all of their body may or may not be human; and other parts of their body may be that of an animal, or more than one animal. It has been suggested, but not proven, that they are composed of dark matter. Many of them have wings, and can fly. Many enjoy magical pranks, known as fairy mischief. (Can't find your pen, can you.)

The Family Mongolandia Defined

Mongolandia is a large family of magical fairies located on the Oregon coast in the western United States. More specifically, those fairies located on stacks and small offshore islands near Coquille point in Bandon, Oregon. Their camouflage of choice is usually, but not always kelp leaves or seaweed.

The Genus Tablerockius Defined

Tablerockius is the genus (a list) containing all known magical fairies known to inhabit Table Rock, a small island/stack near Coquille point in Bandon, Oregon, in the Western United States. Their existence elsewhere has not yet been proven. The list includes those fairies photographed on this web page, including the 'The Elusive Table Rock Pixie'. There are many more to be discovered and classified.

A small fairy with feathers.

A feathered fairy with the body of a human, and the head of a rooster.

Meet Foghorn Leghorn. His feathers hide his human body, and therefore his human features are only an assumption. This fairy is a male, based upon the appearance of his face. He has the head of a rooster, and his assumed human body is covered with yellow feathers, some of which are disguised as kelp leaves. Since roosters have wings, we must assume this fairy has them also. He can fly. He is an animal. He has a spinal chord. He is a mammal. He is a magical fairy. He is approximately 8 inches tall. He is a new undiscovered species and will be properly named and assigned into the animal kingdom.

Kingdom: Animalia
Phylum: Chordata
Class: Mammalia
Order: Magicusfairia
Family: Mongolandia
Genus: Tablerockius
Species: T. Foghornleghorniens
Common name: The yellow feathered flying rooster fairy

A small fairy with the tail of a fish, the body of a cockroach, and the head of an owl.

A small fairy with the tail of a fish and the body of a cockroach, and the head of an owl.

A very unusual animal indeed ! This is the first one we've seen with no human features at all. He is clearly standing up on his fish tail. There is another fairy hiding behind him so it takes a while to discern what this really is. His owl head is clearly seen, and the beetle/cockroach back covers his head/face and most of his fish tail. Cockroaches have wings. This sex of this fairy is unknown. He has the head of an owl, the body of a cockroach, and the tail of a fish. This fairy has wings. He can fly. He is an animal. He is a magical fairy. He/she is approximately 10 inches tall. He is a new undiscovered species and will be properly named and assigned into the animal kingdom.

Two fairies getting married at Table Rock in Bandon, Oregon during a full moon and a minus tide

Two fairies getting married at Table Rock in Bandon, Oregon during a full moon and a minus tide.

Fairies get married too ! I stumbled onto a fairy wedding ! No wonder there were so many there. I might have to show you the other photos I took that show much more of the wedding party. Anyway, I think they are kissing. The woman is on the left, and she has long brown hair and is wearing a dark pants suit. The groom is on the right, and is wearing a tux and a corsage. He is either wearing some kind of fancy hat, or that is another fairy trying to hide from me. They both have human bodies. We can't see her face, but he has the head of some kind of animal. What a romantic setting, full moon and all. I think I'll print these pictures up and go find those fairies and give them their wedding photos. I probably ruined their wedding, and it is the least I can do.

A flying multiheaded medusa fishtailed fairy.

An unusual and bizarre fishtailed fairy.

A very unusual animal indeed ! Here's another fairy with no human features at all. He is clearly standing up on his fish tail. No arms and no legs. A tiny head and neck on top of his nose. A large head with an elephant snout. Another large snout thing. Kinda like a medusa. Kinda beyond description. It appears he may have small wings on his shoulders. The sex of this fairy is unknown. He has multiple heads, multiple snouts, and the body and tail of a fish. This fairy has wings. He can fly. He is an animal. He is a magical fairy. He/she is approximately 8 inches tall. He is a new undiscovered species and will be properly named and assigned into the animal kingdom.

A unicorn fairy.

Every fairy wedding needs a unicorn. Don't ya think ?

Here we have a unicorn fairy. It has no human features. It has a long pointy thing coming out of his nose, and a short pointy thing coming out of the top of its head. Otherwise it looks just like a horse. No wings. He can not fly. The sex of this fairy is unknown. He is an animal. He is a magical fairy. He/she is approximately 14 inches long and 12 inches tall. He is a new undiscovered species and will be properly named and assigned into the animal kingdom.
